Address information is collected to validate payment card details.

At a minimum, The Business captures the following details for online events: Name, postal address, and email address. Marketing purposes require only the name and email address. For therapy services, a comprehensive consultation process is undertaken to deliver the advertised therapies, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations.
Access to Information:
The Business Owner is the sole custodian of your information. Payment card details, in their original form, are not stored. If necessary (you will be notified), our payment provider securely stores a representation of card information to process repeat payments.
No third parties have access to your information.

All information is securely stored and processed within the United Kingdom (UK).
For marketing purposes, we retain your data as long as you wish to be part of our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time. Private individual client information for therapy services is securely stored for 6 years.

Our measures include password protection, physical security such as lock and key systems, and online security measures for our websites and member areas. For online platforms, we utilize established server providers that employ encryption protocols and robust security firewalls to safeguard your information.

1. Refund & Cancellation Policy
1.1 Cancelled/Missed Appointments
The Business, operating as SJ Therapies or any other trading name under Sole Trader Samantha Rix, requires all therapy treatments and coaching appointments to be booked in advance. Payments made online secure your space. Payments can be made in person. A 48-hour cancellation policy is in place and should you need to reschedule, direct contact must be made within this timeframe. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in full or partial retention at the discretion of the owner.
Individual or group coaching appointments are subject to the terms outlined in your contract agreed upon at the time of hire.
1.2 Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers for therapies are valid for 6 months from the purchase date and must be presented at the appointment. Vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable unless agreed upon 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
For online gift voucher purchases, contact email@example.com for arrangement, purchase and delivery.
1.3 Online Events
All ticketed events by The Business are non-refundable or transferable.
1.4 Cancelled Events
In the event of a canceled event, you will be notified, and options to transfer to the next available event or receive a refund will be provided. Refunds should be received within 7-10 business days after administrative notification.
3. Complaints Procedure
In the event of a complaint, please submit it in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. We aim to respond within 14 days. If concerns persist, details for further escalation will be provided.
4. Member Community
Members of the SJ Therapies Online Community are expected to adhere to the following rules:
- Respect the privacy of shared information within the community.
- No hate speech or bullying will be tolerated.
- No self-promotion, spam, or irrelevant content is allowed.
- The community is a safe and welcoming space built on mutual respect and kindness.
All community content is owned by the community. By joining, you agree to these terms.
5. Membership Subscription
5.1 Recorded Sessions
Information shared during live events with members will not be shared outside the Membership community.
Monthly/annual subscriptions can be canceled at any time, providing access until the subscription expiry date. Subscriptions are non-refundable due to the nature of premium content and event participation.
5.3 Data Capture
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the above Terms and Conditions, including the capture of your personal information, which will not be shared with third parties.
6.1 Product Description and Terms
Products, whether physical or online, are subject to the terms and full product description provided at the point of purchase.
Products: A 30-day money-back guarantee is offered on all products, except perishables. Refund requests must be made within this period, and returned products are subject to return postage costs.
Services: Refunds are unavailable for timed services received. Contracted services such as Coaching or Hypnotherapy, purchased as a package may be cancelled subject to subscription details outlined during purchase or Therapist/Coach/Client Agreement.
